Y’all know how I much I loved Black woman themed products, right?
As I was surfing the Tumblr-sphere a few nights ago, I came across a post about a jewelry company “Lost Queens.” The description of the company said all the products were made by Black women, which of course was all I needed to hear. I immediately clicked the link and found not only was their jewelry awesome but each piece was named after a Black woman. If the ‘Maya Angelou’ necklace doesn’t fit your fancy then you can always browse over to the ‘Phyllis Hyman’ body chain.
The website describes the brand as “an accessory shop with pieces for the modern day Queens. We all have a Goddess inside of us ready to break free; our pieces are the armor you put on to go out and conquer the world!” I can most definitely get behind that! Currently, 10 % of the proceeds go to a crowdfunding campaign for a woman to finish her degree program abroad.
