We’ve been talking about it forever and it’s been suggested more times than I can keep track of. The Visibility Project finally has an official podcast–at least we will soon!
The Soapbox will be the official bi-weekly podcast of The Visibility Project hosted by The ViP staff. Each episode of the podcast will range from 30-40 minutes depending on whether or not the episode includes a featured guest or guest host.
Slated to premiere it’s launch episode on Tuesday January 27, 2015, The Soapbox will run parallel to the U.S. television schedule. Each episode of the podcast will be recorded and broadcast live via SpreeCast the Sunday before it’s Tuesday release date. This will provide the opportunity for immediate audience feedback and engagement as we’ll be live tweeting along with the broadcast.
The launch will feature several special guests throughout the extended 55 minutes. Different from the format of a typical episode, the premiere episode’s topics will focus on the first-half of Color TV as well as predictions and hopes for the second half of the season.
Each episode will feature various segments including, “The Weekly Wrap-Up” “This Week in Wokeness,” “Storytime,” and more, each moderated by a different host.
